CTS pharmacists have over 40 years combined service caring for our senior population. As independent, board Certified Geriatric Pharmacists, we provide innovative and comprehensive person-centered care which promotes our resident’s ability to achieve their highest attainable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. We look forward to ensuring our patients “age in place” and experience better health related outcomes through our comprehensive medication therapy management program.
Our team is continually outperforming national competition. We've been recognized as a leader in the reduction of antipsychotics based on statistics from The Partnership to Improve Dementia Care in Nursing Homes, blowing away the competition by 92%.
Below are how our numbers stack up against our competitors in the following categories (and since we're always collecting data, if there is something else you'd like to see, contact us and we'll get you those numbers): average time spent in the facility, average medication count, and average antipsychotic utilization rate.

Meet Our Leadership Team
Adjunct faculty at Butler University and The University of Indianapolis, CTS pharmacists have been featured several times in Consultant Pharmacist: American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) as well as other publications on topics such as: Psychotropic Medications, Regulation Compliance, Diabetes Mellitus, Osteoporosis, Heart Failure, Alzheimer’s Disease, Unnecessary Medications, and many more. We are your experts in Rx.

Lisa O'Hara, PharmD, CGP
Dr. Lisa O’Hara is owner of Comprehensive Therapy Specialists, LLC, an independent pharmacy consulting provider. Lisa has been instrumental in expanding the role of the pharmacist by bringing forth her knowledge as a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, the Corporate Clinical Director for a long-term care pharmacy provider, and preceptor of students from both Butler and Purdue University’s School of Pharmacy. Dr. O’Hara is a national speaker on multiple pharmacy related topics. Her other contributions include numerous pieces and publications focused on geriatric/long-term care areas such as: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Diabetes Mellitus, Heart Failure, Osteoporosis, Stroke Prevention, and Unnecessary Medication Use.
Dr. O'Hara was also a finalist for the Next Generation Pharmacist, Pharmacy Times, Patient Care Provider of the Year (2013).

Qualifications:
- Excellent clinical and communication skills with the ability to work independently
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of nursing home regulations and surveyor guidance
- Previous experience as a consultant pharmacist preferred but NOT required
